— First of all, the — front. Our military tasks and steps for the near future and everything that is needed for the effectiveness of our soldiers on the front line: weapons, military equipment, supplies, staffing of brigades, — the president reported following the meeting.

Vladimir Zelensky also reported that a detailed report by Commander-in-Chief Sirsky on the situation in all areas of military operations and repelling enemy attacks had been made.

The Kursk operation was discussed separately, where, as the president reported, Ukrainian troops are maintaining their positions and preventing the enemy from expanding the war on Ukrainian territory.

— Instead of the buffer zone on Ukrainian territory that the Russians planned, we created a buffer zone near our border on Russian territory. I am grateful to all our soldiers for their bravery. And special attention — to replenishing the exchange fund for Ukraine in order to free our people from Russian captivity. It was thanks to the Kursk operation that we were able to free a significant number of our people, — he wrote.

The President reported that following today's meeting, “the tasks for the relevant negotiations with partners on defense support for Ukraine were updated“.

To recap, today US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin arrived in Kyiv where, during a meeting with President Zelensky, he announced a $400 million aid package from the United States.
