The corresponding statement was made by the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, reports “Echo of the Caucasus.”
Zurabishvili emphasized that Georgia faces a new challenge in 2024.
“Russia could not break Ukraine, Moreover, it failed to undermine the unity and solidarity of Europe and even strengthened it. Despite the failure or because of it, Russia has launched a new hybrid war (a war without war) against Georgia, for which it is using all forms and weapons,” noted Zurabishvili.
The Russian Federation continues to pose a threat to the strategic prospects of the Black Sea.
“Russia's plan to transform the Ochamchira port into a military one base aims to transfer the confrontation to the Black Sea,” she added. /h2>
