Terrorist attack near Moscow: reaction of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine called the terrorist attack in Moscow a planned and deliberate provocation of the Russian special services at the direction of Putin.
The purpose of such an act is to justify even more severe blows to Ukraine and total mobilization in Russia, indicate the GUR.
— The public execution of people in Moscow should be understood as Putin's threat of an even greater escalation and expansion of the war, — the message says.
According to the GUR report, the statement of the Kremlin Speaker Dmitry Peskov, which sounded shortly before the terrorist attack about the war, is only a “false start of a carefully planned Kremlin special operation”.
Before this, Peskov said that Russia “is in a state of war”.
— Yes, it began as a special military operation, but when the collective West became a participant in this on the side of Ukraine, for us it already became a war. And everyone should understand this for their internal mobilization, — spoke the Kremlin speaker.
The GUR message indicates that Russian President Vladimir Putin has “extensive experience in organizing such terrorist attacks as a way of strengthening his own power, starting with the bombing of houses on Kashirskoye Highway”.

Intelligence experts are confident that the Kremlin can blame Ukraine for organizing the terrorist attack and use the execution of its own citizens as a pretext for even more brutal attacks on civilian infrastructure and the killing of Ukrainian civilians. At the same time, today’s massive shelling of the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine is another link in the escalation that was initiated by Putin, according to the GUR.

In turn, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak points out that Ukraine has nothing to do with the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow.
— Ukraine absolutely has nothing to do with these events. Firstly, because we have a full-fledged, full-scale, huge and intense war with the Russian regular army, with Russia as a country. And everything will be decided on the battlefield, — stated Mikhail Podolyak in a statement published on his Telegram channel.
According to him, Ukraine has never used terrorist methods to wage war, unlike how the Russian Federation regularly does.
— In modern Russian history , terrorist attacks against their citizens have been repeatedly used, for example, Kashirskoe Highway or Nord-Ost, to correct certain subsequent genocidal actions against one or another ethnic group , — Podolyak emphasized.

Terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall: Russia was warned
Recall that on the evening of March 22 in Krasnogorsk, in the Moscow region, shooting began in the Crocus City Hall concert hall.
It subsequently became known that several men in camouflage with weapons entered the indicated building and opened fire before the Russian group Picnic was supposed to perform there.
Later, a fire started in the building and explosions occurred. Eyewitnesses claim that the roof of the Crocus City Hall building has collapsed, and many people may be under the rubble.
More than 40 dead and 100 injured are now reported.
Various foreign embassies had previously warned about the preparation of terrorist attacks on Russian territory. In particular, the US Embassy urged Americans to avoid large gatherings of people, such as concerts. A similar statement was released by the British Foreign Office.
Reacting to warnings from Western countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin called these statements “blackmail and provocation”.
