Lithuania has joined the Czech Republic's initiative to purchase for APU ammunition.

Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte stated this.

“This is a very important initiative, especially during this period when the supply of ammunition to Ukraine has slowed down. Lithuania will continue to support all formats of support that will enhance Ukraine's ability to effectively defend itself against Russian aggression, thereby protecting freedom throughout Europe,” said Simonyte.

The initiative intends to purchase and transfer ammunition to Ukraine, identifying possible ammunition reserves or rapid production sources for acquisition.

Recall that the Czech Republic is not going to send its troops to Ukraine on the basis of bilateral agreements.
