Shelling of Kherson
Today, after 12:00, Russian occupation forces attacked Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank. Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian attack, at least four people were killed and another person was injured, said Roman Mrochko, Chairman of the Kherson City Military Administration.
According to him, the enemy was hitting the city center. As a result of the explosion of shells, a passenger car caught fire, in which rescuers found the bodies of two dead men — 45 and 50 years old. A woman who was on the street at the time of the shooting also died.
Roman Mrochko also reported one victim, who was later hospitalized. Subsequently, it became known about another death — This is a 60-year-old man who suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Russian strike on Sumy region
The Russian Federation today, February 5, at 17:00 fired at the city of Vorozhba in the Sumy region from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), there were dead and injured, the Sumy Regional Military Administration (OVA) reported.
It is noted that 8 explosions were recorded.

Zelensky on the dismissal of Zaluzhny
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky gave an interview to the national Italian television channel Rai 1, in which he answered questions about the possible dismissal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, the course of events if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, and also explained that he will help change the situation at the front.
Journalists asked what Zelensky thinks about Zaluzhny.
— This is a question concerning the people who should lead Ukraine. We definitely need a reboot, a new beginning. I mean something serious that concerns not one person, but the direction of the country's leadership.

— The Ministry of Defense will prepare six more F-16 aircraft for delivery to Ukraine. Therefore, the total number of F-16s will reach 24 units. Ukraine's air advantage is necessary to counter Russian aggression, — she emphasized.
In turn, the country's defense ministry added that the Netherlands stopped discussing the sale of six F-16 fighters with Draken International, since both the company and the Dutch government came to the conclusion that the sale of these aircraft would not be needed in the short term. < /p>
Two ministers from Portugal arrived in Kyiv
5 February Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Education of Portugal — Joao Gomes Cravinho and Joao Costa — arrived in Ukraine, the Portuguese Foreign Ministry reported.

King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer
The monarch of the United Kingdom, Charles III, was diagnosed with a form of cancer during medical procedures, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
— During King's recent hospital procedure for a benign prostate enlargement, a separate problem was discovered that caused concern. Further diagnostic tests revealed a form of cancer, — the message says.
