Russian journalist semen Pegov and his colleagues Dmitry Lisenko and Anton Starks, freed in Belarus will be delivered to the Russian Embassy in Minsk. Then will decide about sending them in Smolensk, said in a broadcast YouTube-channel “Soloviev LIVE” official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

“At this moment taking our three journalists from places where they were kept and taken to our Embassy. There they rest,” — said Zakharov. She also noted that begs the question, why the Russian correspondents, the time has not accredited for covering the elections in Belarus.

Pegov was harshly detained for a protest in Minsk against the results of presidential elections in Belarus. He was placed in the Center for isolation of offenders. Whether he’s facing any charges, is still unknown.

Along with him were detained and beaten journalists of the Daily Storm Dmitry Lisenko and Anton Starkov, and also special correspondent of the “Medusa” Maxim Solopova. It was reported that Solopov was very badly beaten. No communication with him for several hours.
