US President Donald Trump, who is seeking re-election for a second term, has announced that he is winning in the state of Pennsylvania with its 20 electors, contrary to statements by local authorities. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.
“We are winning a big victory in Pennsylvania, but the Pennsylvania Secretary of State has just announced that there are millions of votes left to count,” Trump wrote.
In turn, Trump's lawyer Rudolph Giuliani said on Twitter that he was heading to Philadelphia (Pennsylvania's largest city) with a team of lawyers after “massive violations” in the elections.
To maintain his chances of re-election, Trump needs to win in Pennsylvania, but his rival Joe Biden won't have to if he maintains his current leadership in Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada.
Earlier, Trump announced the manipulation of votes. According to him, votes for his main opponent, Democrat Joe Biden, are suddenly found in the states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan. Trump's headquarters later filed a lawsuit to suspend the counting of votes in Michigan.
