Iran has said it will support the Lebanese group Hezbollah if Israel attacks Lebanon. In addition, Israel's war with Hamas is still ongoing, and the situation in the Middle East remains tense.

Apparently, there is a definite reconciliation plan to end everything without war. After all, the rich Arab countries now really don’t want a regional war in the Middle East and are trying with all their might to avoid it, emphasized Zvi Zilber.

If Israel announces the end of the military operation in the coming days in the Gaza Strip, it is likely that we will see the end of the Hezbollah story without war. But it is obvious that Israel will require confirmation of peaceful intentions.

The situation in the Middle East: context

• In October 2023, Israel was massively attacked by rockets from the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of missiles and drones have been launched into the country. Hamas terrorists entered a number of cities and took hostages. Some of them have not yet been released. The Israeli authorities declared the beginning of war.
• The IDF had been preparing for the start of a ground operation in the Gaza Strip for almost a month. Nevertheless, on October 28, Israeli armored personnel carriers, tanks and other equipment entered the northern territory.
• In total, the army attacked more than 450 military targets of the terrorist organization Hamas. A separate operation was carried out to destroy hundreds of tunnels that terrorists had built.
• In addition to the war with Hamas, Israel also faced aggression from Lebanon. The Hezbollah group launched more than 200 missiles and drones into the country on July 4. The militants called it revenge for the murder of their leader.
