When creating T-14 “Armata” were problems with engines and imagers, reported TASS the head of the Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov.
“And the engines, and thermal issues have been resolved. The engine produces exactly the parameters of the technical characteristics, which were laid in TTZ [performance task] in the design” — said the official.
According to him, the testing of the tank “are on schedule, the Ministry of defense”.
In the January edition of the Diplomat announced that deliveries of the T-14 “Armata” delayed due to problems with the power plant, transmission and sighting system.
In July 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said that Russia’s Armed forces do not tend to massively purchase tanks T-14 “Armata” because of their high cost, preferring to increase the combat potential of the military equipment due to its modernization.
