The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot complex to strengthen air defense.
This was announced at a joint briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba by the Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans and Casparo Veldkamp in Kyiv.
– Today we discussed how this initiative will be implemented and the expected delivery time of this complex to Ukraine,” said Dmitry Kuleba.

In addition, he noted that the Netherlands recently decided to purchase weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers.

Dutch Foreign Minister Casparo Veldkamp said that his country will allocate 2 million euros for forensic research and identification of bodies.
– We also plan to transfer a forensic laboratory to Ukraine. To be closer to the front line, you have forensic capabilities to ensure justice for the families of all Ukrainians whose bodies are returned from the front, said Dutch Foreign Minister Casparo Veldkamp.
He also added that the Netherlands will help return children abducted by Russia.
After the appointment of the new government, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense of the Netherlands made their first visit abroad. Casparo Veldkamp emphasized several times that the purpose of this trip is to demonstrate the Netherlands’ continued support for Ukraine.
