A joint production site of Ukroboronprom and the German defense concern Rheinmetall began operating in Ukraine – a workshop for the repair and production of armored vehicles.

As noted by the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Alexander Kamyshin, the workshop for the repair and production of armored vehicles became the first implemented project within the framework of the partnership between Ukroboronprom and Rheinmetall.

– It’s just that now this will allow us to repair foreign equipment faster and, accordingly, return it to the front line faster. In the future, new models of armored vehicles will be produced here,” the minister explained.

According to Alexander Kamyshin, cooperation with Rheinmetall is support not only for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also for the country’s economy, because in the workshop for the repair and production of armored vehicles under the technical supervision of colleagues from Ukrainian specialists work in Germany.
