On January 17, during a meeting of deputies, 178 elected representatives voted for the transfer of warheads to Kyiv, 485 were against, 3 abstained.

Later, the people’s deputy from the Servant of the People, Yegor Chernev, commented on the unpleasant news for Ukraine. As his friends in the Bundestag said, the bill was rejected not on its merits, but because of a violation of procedure.
— This was a separate bill from part of the opposition, which she wanted to put to a vote without coordination with others. It was rejected for trying to use it for partisan PR. The plan to submit a joint bill of all factions to the Bundestag remains in force, — Chernev assured his followers on Facebook.
