On the border with Poland, in front of the Dorogusk-Yagodin checkpoint, a Ukrainian truck driver who planned to cross the border died.
According to Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Sergei Derkach, this happened in the parking lot of the Polish city of Chelm, not far from the checkpoint. It is known that a 54-year-old man arrived at the parking lot on November 11 and waited there to cross the border.
– The team of the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine and I personally offer our condolences to the family who lost a loved one.
At the same time, in order to avoid manipulation and aggravation of the situation around the border blocking, I urge you to use exclusively official information,” Derkach wrote on his Facebook.
The Deputy Minister noted that final information about the causes of death will be provided by the Polish prosecutor's office after studying all the details, but there is no reason to believe that the death occurred due to unnatural causes.

Protests by Polish carriers
Since the beginning of the month, Polish carriers have staged a strike on the border with Ukraine. They are blocking three checkpoints: Korcheva – Krakovets, Grebennoye – Rava-Russkaya, Dorogusk – Yagodin.
However, the Ukrainian side has still not received official demands from the protesters. Hundreds of trucks coming from both Ukraine and Poland are stuck in long queues.
