Ukrainian Dmitry Kotovsky won gold at the European Cup stage in ski acrobat, which takes place in the Finnish Ruka.

For his full-full-double-ful jump, the 22-year-old athlete from Rivne scored 115.84 points.
The Ukrainian athlete was ahead of his closest pursuer, the Swiss Pirmin Werner by three points. The bronze medal went to Canadian Alexander Duchaine.

Another Ukrainian Alexander Okipnyuk stopped one step away from the podium, taking fourth place.
Six more Ukrainian freestylers also took part in the competition: Maxim Kuznetsov, Yan Gavryuk, Mark Lajos, Egor Neskoromny, Roman Bondarchuk and Nikita Targonsky.
For Kotovsky this is already the second medal after the start of the new season. In early December, at the first stage of the World Cup in the Finnish Ruka, he won bronze.
Then he lost only to Beijing Olympic champion Chinese Qi Guangpu and Swiss Pirmin Werner.
The next stage of the World Cup will take place in Changchun, China on December 16-17. According to Suspilny, five Ukrainian athletes will perform at it: Dmitry Kotovsky, Alexander Okipnyuk, Vladimir Kushnir, Maxim Kuznetsov and Angelina Brykina.
