As told in the center, the military escorted the RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft belonging to the British Air Force. After the turn of the foreign vessel, the Russian fighter returned to the home airfield.
In addition, over the past day, the MiG-31 also flew to intercept the Norwegian R-3C Orion patrol aircraft, and the MiG-29 was accompanied by the British strategic reconnaissance aircraft R.1 Sentinel. Both cases also took place over the Barents Sea.
