Poland will negotiate with NATO to shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine – Tusk

by alex

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said his country plans to hold talks with allies about the possibility of shooting down Russian missiles flying towards the Polish border.

He said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Warsaw.

— We have been talking about this idea, which originated in Poland, for a long time. About this idea of a NATO response to missile attacks, where we're talking about missiles heading towards Poland that are still in Ukraine to try to shoot them down. Not waiting for them to fly into NATO territory, but over Ukrainian soil. And it seems absolutely logical, — said Tusk.

According to him, Poland was the first country that started talking about this with Ukraine.
