Ukraine is ready to convey its proposals to Russia with the help of third countries, however, in order to really become a mediator in this war, countries that want to end this war should be serious about this work.

— Any country that is serious about doing some work will not go out publicly and say rather trivial things. When they say “we are for an immediate ceasefire” – this means that the country is not ready for the mediation mission. Because in big wars this is a completely different job, — the adviser emphasized.
In particular, Podolyak noted that Ukraine is ready to transmit its proposals through third countries of Russia, as was the case with the “grain agreement”.
Orban’s visit to Ukraine and the Russian Federation
Recall that on July 2, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was on a visit to Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. As part of his visit, Orban called on the head of our state to consider the possibility of a ceasefire to quickly end the war that the Russian Federation unleashed against Ukraine.
And on July 5, Orban arrived in Moscow, where he met with Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.
In particular, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that Orban’s visit to the Russian Federation takes place exclusively within the framework of bilateral relations between Hungary and the Russian Federation, and not Presidency of the Council of the EU.
