Microsoft talked about new Windows features introduced to make communication with text and voice more comfortable. This was stated by the representative of the company Brandon LeBlanc (Brandon LeBlanc) on the Microsoft website.
LeBlanc said that the new features are open to enthusiasts who have installed the beta version of Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20206. “Our goal is to make Windows even better by helping our users communicate using text and voice,” said a company spokesman. In particular, users of the operating system will have simplified access to GIFs and emoji. The built-in search allows you to quickly select animated images and the symbols you want.
Also in Windows it will be possible to transfer emoji from the clipboard to the text input field using the quick commands “Copy” and “Paste”. GIFs are searched for via the Tenor service and requires an internet connection.
The company's specialist also reported that the OS will add a function of simplified voice dialing. The user can call the dictation assistant at any time by pressing the Win + H key combination. An icon with a microphone will appear on the virtual keyboards for touch screens. The system itself will place punctuation marks in the typed voice text; if desired, this option can be disabled in the settings. Voice dialing will be available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and other languages.
