Blow to the energy infrastructure of Ukraine
8 May Russia dealt a serious blow to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Electricity generation and transmission facilities were attacked in the Poltava, Kirovograd, Zaporozhye, Lvov, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia regions, and power lines were damaged in the Kyiv region.
Gas infrastructure was damaged in the west of the country.

Mobilization bills
On May 8, the Verkhovna Rada adopted bill No. 11079-1 on the mobilization of convicts. 279 people's deputies voted for the corresponding document.
