In particular, Russian missiles once again hit the residential buildings of Nikolaev this morning. By the way, the attack was carried out from recycled S-300 air defense missiles. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which also published eerie footage of the aftermath of the shelling. So, residential buildings were attacked at four in the morning – as a result, the walls were broken, the ceiling collapsed and the windows were shattered. The Russians also beat educational institutions, hospitals and other civilian facilities. Everything is smashed around, all the balconies are destroyed. People were left without windows, – says the press officer of the regional military administration Dmitry Pletenchuk. The Ministry of Defense emphasized that local residents believe in victory and that the neighboring temporarily occupied Kherson will be liberated very soon, and the occupier will be driven out forever. The attack on July 13 with the S-300 is not the first, the invaders still hitting her. The chairman of the Nikolaev OVA, Vitaly Kim, said that the invaders are trying to strike from a long distance, because they are forbidden to approach the front line closer than 4 to 6 kilometers.
He also noted that the enemy reworked anti-aircraft shells S- 300. According to Kim, Russia has a lot of S-300 systems. It is an anti-aircraft missile that can hit an air target.
As the head of the Nikolaev OVA added, HIMARS no longer sees these missiles, so they redesigned the S-300 module so that this missile can hit ground targets.
