In China recorded outbreak of a new type of SFTS virus, which is transmitted by ticks. He has been dead at least 7 people and infected 60. This writes the Global Times.
The virus was identified back in 2011. Experts have told that the SFTS can be transmitted from a tick infected person to another person through blood or mucous.
According to the newspaper, more than 37 people in the Chinese province of Jiangsu have been infected in the first half of this year, and later another 23 people in Anhui province found SFTS.
However, the doctors reminded that the main source of danger remains the tick, so with all the precautions cause for panic.
