Hungarian EU Presidency — Orban made a trip to Kyiv
On July 1, Belgium handed over its presidency of the European Council to Hungary for the next six months.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban began the month with a trip to Kyiv, where he met with President Vladimir Zelensky and discussed prospects for ending hostilities.
However, recently the European publications VSquare and Direkt36, citing their sources, indicated that Orban’s immediate plans also include a meeting with dictator Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
