For real changes, the MSEC needs to undergo full digitalization at all levels — Zelensky

For real changes to the MSEC system, it is necessary to conduct a complete digitalization of all stages of work on establishing disability.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an evening video address on October 22.

Digitalization of MSEC

The President emphasized that the problem is not only that officials make themselves disabled thanks to their connections, but also that people who have received a real disability, in particular in combat, often cannot receive the appropriate status and fair payments.

— Officials — in the Ministry of Digital Development, in the digital team of the Ministry of Defense — have someone to ensure the appropriate changes… The government has little time to fix this, — said Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president noted personal responsibility and corresponding personnel decisions in the vertical control over the MSEC.

The decision of the National Security and Defense Council now provides for a full audit of pensions and other accruals for all officials who have organized “disability” for themselves.

— We need to go through all the horizontals of local government separately. Today, the National Security and Defense Council also discussed the situation in the prosecutor's office of Ukraine. Following this conversation, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin wrote a letter of resignation, — Zelensky emphasized.

DPRK military fighting on Russia's side

In his evening address, the president also commented on the information about the training of two units of North Korean military. According to him, we could be talking about two brigades of 6,000 people each.

— And this is a challenge. But we know how to respond to this challenge. And it is important that our partners do not hide from this challenge. All partners. I am grateful to all the countries and leaders who condemned North Korea's accession to the Russian war. It is clear that in Pyongyang, just like in Moscow, they do not count people and do not value human lives, — he added.

Zelensky emphasized that if North Korea can interfere in the war in Europe, then the pressure on this regime is definitely not enough.
