President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced a new maritime strategy for Ukraine, which should soon be approved by the National Security and Defense Council.

— We clearly understand that the war has changed the balance of power in our entire Black Sea region, and the Russian fleet will never again dominate in this water area. We are consolidating our interests, taking into account Ukraine's new technological capabilities and our new relations with partners, — he said.
The head of state added that Ukraine will now always be a state capable of defending its own interests at sea, transport arteries and the interests of our allies and partners.
The President thanked the Ukrainian soldiers who provide strikes by our Ukrainian drones. According to him, Russia must feel the response to what it does against Ukraine and its people, and now this response is obvious to it.
Zelensky also touched on the topic of international communication. He noted that “we have already significantly increased the strength of our air defense, and next week will be the time to continue such steps”.
— Every day, our team and I work in detail with our partners on the relevant agreements — both within the framework of the air defense and F-16 coalitions, and on a bilateral basis, — in particular with America. We are preparing the result that Ukraine needs and our common security with our partners, — the president said.
The head of state also expressed condolences to the families and friends of those killed in the accident near the village of Verkhiv in the Rivne region. As a result of the collision of a truck with a minibus, 14 people are known to have died, including one child.
According to Zelensky, all the circumstances are currently being investigated — how and why this happened. All necessary services are on site.
