You can predict and theorize about everything: how Western media play along with Russian IPSO Melania Golembyovskaya

The Telegraph wrote that the Russians may launch an offensive on the Dnepropetrovsk region in 2025. In addition, sometimes Western media outlets report that Ukraine needs to come to terms with the future loss of Pokrovsk. However, the Western press can predict anything.

It is important to analyze the real capabilities of the Russians and the situation on the battlefield. This opinion was expressed to Channel 24 by the head of the Center for Military and Legal Studies, military expert Alexander Musienko, noting that there is no need to overestimate the Russian army.

How Western media play along with Russian IPSO

According to the head of the Center, there is no point in arguing with Western media in absentia. They are widely quoted, they penetrate the Ukrainian information space and are trying to shape the information landscape in Ukraine.

You can predict and theorize anything you want. It is necessary to look at real possibilities, analyze based on mathematical indicators of the enemy's strength, their capabilities, the tactical and operational situation from what is on the battlefield and analyze the enemy's previous actions, Musienko explained.

The head of the Center noted that it is premature to talk about plans for the Dnipropetrovsk region. Unfortunately, there are a large number of people who continue to believe in myths about the Russian army. Of course, the enemy should not be underestimated, but they are not omnipotent and cannot continue the offensive indefinitely.

The current offensive campaign of the Russians has lasted almost a year since the beginning of October 2023. The goal that Russia now sets for itself is to capture Pokrovsk at most. Propaganda can set the goal of capturing the whole of Donetsk, and Kharkov, and anywhere else. We are talking about real goals, Musienko noted.
