Colombian man found brother after 32 years
This story is similar to the Latin American TV series: a resident of Colombia found his brother 32 years later, the MIR 24 TV channel reports.
In 1987, when Juan Jimenez was 5 years old, his three-year-old brother Jonathan was kidnapped by a family friend. The mother tried in vain to find her youngest son. Eight years later, they managed to find out that the child was taken to the United States and adopted there. Juan vowed to find his brother. He moved to America, but the report about Jonathan turned out to be false.

“I have always believed in the impossible. And every step I took was towards my brother. I grew up seeing my mother suffer greatly. And I always wanted to give her happiness. I think it was my biggest desire to try to do something and find my brother, ”said Huang.
Meanwhile, Jonathan grew up in a foster family in Norway. And I really wanted to find my relatives. The brothers were helped by a DNA collection campaign. Being in different parts of the world, they both donated samples. And Jonathan was informed that his family may be living in Colombia, where he has a mother and two brothers.
“I remember the moment I told my foster mother that I had found my family in Colombia. And I was so happy, it was just amazing news for me, because I wanted this for a long time, ”said Jonathan Jimenez.
Jonathan traveled to Colombia on the eve of the pandemic to meet with his mother and brother. But it didn't work out anymore – the borders were closed. So the Jimenez had time to get to know each other again and celebrate at once all 29 of Jonathan's birthdays they missed.
