According to updated information from Ukrenergo, hourly power outages on July 6 will not apply from 10:00 to 15:00 throughout Ukraine.
The reason is a reduction in electricity consumption on weekends and an increase in generation at solar power plants.

The day before, Ukrenergo warned that from 17:00 to 22:00 three queues of hourly power outage schedules could be used, and two at other times queue.
At the same time, the power supply to critical infrastructure facilities will not be limited.
DTEK reported that July 6 for consumers in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Odessa, Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk regions a light gray outage zone may be used .

Ukrenergo promises to provide additional information about possible changes in the situation in the energy system.

Planned blackouts – how long will they last
According to the head of the board of NEC Ukrenergo Vladimir Kudrytsky, planned power outages can be carried out throughout the summer, autumn and all of next winter.
– “As we announced, hourly shutdown schedules will be applied for industry and the population due to the fact that the energy system does not have enough power to cover the evening peak of consumption,” Kudritsky said.
