On the night of July 6, the Russians launched 27 attack drones of the Shahed-131/136 type across Ukraine. Combat work against enemy targets took place in 12 regions.

The air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, air defense of the Ground Forces, and electronic warfare units.
According to Nikolai Oleschuk, at night our sky defenders shot down 24 Shaheds in 12 regions: in Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Kharkov, Donetsk, Sumy, Chernihiv, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Nikolaev.

Drone attack on Sumy region
Chairman of the Sumy OVA Igor Kalchenko reported that the Russians attacked the energy infrastructure of the Sumy region. Due to the attack, settlements in the region were cut off in several areas.
