Strategic bombers B-52H Stratofortress of the US Air Force (Air Force) approached the Russian border. This is evidenced by data from the PlaneRadar service published on Twitter.
It is specified that a pair of American bombers took off from the British Fairford airbase and headed towards the Black Sea through the airspace of Ukraine. At 14:55 Moscow time, the planes flew 37.5 kilometers from the Russian coast in the Crimea region.
The flight targets are unknown.
This is the second time a B-52H has entered Ukrainian airspace since early September. The previous flight was carried out as part of a regular mission to observe the Black Sea. The bombers were accompanied by Ukrainian Su-27 and MiG-29 fighters.
