Zelensky and Macron signed a security agreement

Please note that Vladimir Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron signed a security agreement in Paris. The French leader, during a joint press conference, promised long-term support for our state.

He noted that the security agreement specifies the obligations that the countries assumed during the Vilnius summit NATO in July 2023. According to him, support has a “collective dimension”.

Emmanuel Macron added that Russia not only undermines international security, but also destabilizes the world. In addition, she neglects her own commitments that she made in the 1990s. But Ukraine defends international law.

The security agreement between Ukraine and France was signed for 10 years. It will be in effect until our state becomes a member of NATO. Paris will also allocate 6 billion euros to support Ukraine.

He added that France will continue to support Ukraine in the supply of equipment, defense cooperation, sharing intelligence, and providing civilian assistance.

We are ready to do more, even if it disrupts habits and comfort,” Macron emphasized.

We are talking about strengthening Europe’s defense capabilities and continuing support for Ukraine. France will do this in the format “today, tomorrow and as long as necessary.”

Also during the press conference, Emmanuel Macron announced when he would come to visit Ukraine. He assured that he should be expected in Kyiv until mid-March.
