30 US educational institutions recognized Zelensky as an honorary doctor/Channel 24 Collage
Manor College in the US state of Pennsylvania awarded Volodymyr Zelensky an honorary doctorate. Iryna Mazur, consul of Ukraine, received the distinction instead of the president.
The college honored the Ukrainian president with an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. The ceremony took place on May 12.
It was an incredible honor for me to receive this honorary diploma on behalf of the President of Ukraine,” said Madam Honorary Consul.
She added, that 26 US educational institutions have already joined such an initiative at Manor College.
In an explanation of the award, the college leadership cited Zelensky's biography: from “Quarter” to the presidency. The educational institution remembered that the politician refused to evacuate, but asked colleagues for weapons for his country. The teachers stressed that Zelensky's concern for his people has become unprecedented in the world.

The Ukrainian diaspora was involved in the creation of Manor College in Pennsylvania in 1947. The educational institution is closely connected with the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
