The political and military leadership of Ukraine have a plan to conduct military operations during 2024.
President Vladimir Zelensky stated this while speaking via video link at the Reuters Next conference on Wednesday.

“We’ll try to show results this year.” And this is very important for us, because we lose people every day. Fewer than Russians is good news, but people are very bad news,” he said.
Zelensky noted that “we have taken some steps forward in the south of our country. We also have progress in the East, and I think there are some good steps near the Kherson region. I am confident that we will be successful.”
The Ukrainian head of state recalled that the slow decision-making by Ukraine’s partners on arms supplies led to the fact that the occupiers had time to mine the occupied territories.
“We waited seven months for ammunition and Russia used that time to mine the whole thing,” he said.
The head of state added that Ukraine also has a plan for the next year.
“Yes, we have a plan for next year, we are trying to plan it, but I will not share,” Zelensky said.
