The Ukrainian leader said that he wholeheartedly congratulates Maryana and wishes the girls only the best – peace and victory, informs 24 channel. Zelensky stressed: this is another proof that life conquers any evil. Evil under the Russian flag is no exception to this rule.
How the state helps those released from captivity
The President said that now all state structures are working to provide the retired soldiers with all the necessary assistance. In particular, we are talking about medical, rehabilitation, social, legal, restoration of documents, bank cards, etc.
Zelensky said: on his instructions, Rustem Umerov visited the dismissed commanders from Azovstal in Turkey. In particular, he checked the conditions in which the characters live. The conditions are comfortable. Commanders get everything they need. And soon they will be able to meet with their relatives.
Zelensky stressed that on September 27 he should receive a clear plan for each and every one of those released from captivity: how they will restore their normal life.
Ukraine will return all the heroes
Zelensky said that preparations are underway for subsequent exchanges. Ukraine will not forget anyone. All heroes will return home.
I want to emphasize that work continues on further exchanges. No matter how difficult it is, we must fire all our people, all Ukrainians. We don't forget about anyone. But we still remember: this is not easy, it requires the efforts of many people, and this is directly related to the situation on the front line. Zelensky said.
He added that the active actions of Ukrainian soldiers are an increase in the exchange fund. The more Russian soldiers detained by Ukrainian forces, the faster Ukraine will be able to fire its heroes.
