This was told to Channel 24 by the permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea Tamila Tasheva. She stressed that the summit of state leaders would not be the only event of the Crimean Platform. A number of other events are also planned.
Tasheva noted that 46 countries joined the Crimean Platform summit last year. “This year we hope for other states to join. In particular, Zelensky has already proposed this to the President of Guatemala,” she said.
What will speak at the summit
According to her, since the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia on February 24, the challenges for the Crimean platform have become more.
We state the use of Crimea as a military base for 8 years. We also explained to our partners that without the demilitarization and liberation of Crimea, this would be a constant threat to the entire Black Sea region, Europe and the world,โ Tasheva explained.
The Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in Crimea assured that this everyone will be discussed at the summit.
“We also cannot bypass the occupation of Kherson and partially Zaporozhye regions. We hope that by the end of August, when the summit is held, we will be able to de-occupy these territories” , she said.
Tasheva added that those are enough, but the key is the de-occupation of the peninsula. This issue should be discussed at the highest level of heads of state.

The Office of the President assured that the Crimean bridge could become the target of a strike by the Ukrainian military as soon as it becomes technically possible. After all, the aggressor's army is being supplied over the bridge.
