Sanctions approved by partner states must be synchronized in the jurisdiction of Ukraine by submitting them for consideration and approval by the National Security and Defense Council no later than the 15th day after the entry into force of the relevant decision of the partner state or association of states.

The Cabinet of Ministers, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service, together with the Office of the Prosecutor General, have been instructed to ensure synchronization with the European Union, the United States, and other countries of sanctions applied by Ukraine in connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

Commenting on the decree on his Telegram channel, Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Ukraine is maximally mobilizing sanctions pressure on Russia in order to end the war and achieve real peace.

โ€” We must implement partners' sanctions packages in our jurisdiction, as well as implement Ukrainian sanctions decisions in key global jurisdictions. Synchronization of sanctions must be ensured, โ€” he wrote.

Zelensky added that today's decision of the National Security and Defense Council sets a clear task for all state institutions of Ukraine and instructs us to activate our entire diplomatic direction.

The head of state is convinced that Russia must feel the truly painful consequences of blocking all diplomatic efforts and peace proposals and prolonging the war. EU sanctions, sanctions of other G7 members, sanctions of other countries with which Russia has tangible ties – all this must work 100%.
