Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak criticized the Nobel Committee for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize not only to Ukraine, but also to Russia and Belarus.

The Nobel Committee is clearly interested in the understanding of the word “peace” if the Nobel Prize is received together by representatives of two countries that attacked a third, the statement of the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office reads.

Podolyak explained his statement by the fact that so far no Russian or Belarusian organizations were unable to organize resistance to this war.

“This year's Nobel is just “super,” the adviser added ironically.

Important! The indignation is not unfounded, because Ukraine is trying to fight against the imposed Russian propaganda narrative about the “triune brotherly people”.

This year's Peace Prize is ambiguous

The Peace Prize for 2022 is divided into three: between the head of the Belarusian human rights center “Viasna” Ales Byalyatsky, the Russian organization “Memorial” and the Ukrainian “Center for Civil Liberties”.

The Nobel Committee called these representatives of the three countries “outstanding leaders in the defense of human rights, democracy and peaceful coexistence in neighboring states of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine”, noting their continuous efforts in upholding humanist values and anti-militarism.
