Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podoliak noted that the negotiations continue online, now the focus is on legal nuances.
Currently, the negotiation process is taking place online at the level of working subgroups. Legal nuances are discussed. In this sense, it is certainly difficult. From the point of view of communication, it’s difficult,” Podolyak noted.
What is needed for the meeting of the presidents to take place
In addition, the adviser stressed that the meeting of the presidents is certainly needed, because it will help stop war. However, in order to defend its position, Ukraine must prove that it can fight. She has already proved it.
At the level of presidents, it is possible to resolve the fundamental dispute between Ukraine and Russia, to stop the war. But in order for this meeting to take place, it is necessary to have certain positions. For Ukraine, certain positions are clear – we must prove that we can fight, we have already proved this, – Podolyak emphasized.
Also, according to Podolyak, it is necessary to prove that Russia will lose a lot due to the war, not only in the sanctions, economic sense, but also on the battlefields. So, during negotiations it will be much easier to defend your position.
