On February 9, the President of Ukraine addressed the European Parliament. Afterwards, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on his way from Brussels, met with his Polish counterpart.

The Head of State discussed the latest developments in Ukraine with Andrzej Duda. This was announced by the Office of the President of Poland.

What is known about the meeting of the two presidents

Vladimir Zelensky met with Andrzej Duda on Thursday, February 9, at Rzeszow. The President of Ukraine reported on his diplomatic activities in Brussels and other European capitals.

The negotiations concerned security in the region. The presidents discussed the current situation at the front and security in our region and the need for further joint military support actions, the Office of the Polish President added.

Briefly about Vladimir Zelensky's recent visits abroad

  • On February 8, Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the UK. The head of state held talks with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Moreover, the Ukrainian leader spoke at the Palace of Westminster.
  • After that, Zelensky flew to France, where he held talks with French President Macron and German Chancellor Scholz.
  • Then, the President of Ukraine, together with his French counterpart flew to Brussels. The Ukrainian leader delivered a speech in the European Parliament. Among other things, he spoke about fighters and missiles.
