Ukraine needs three main victories, which will further stimulate the fight against Russia. Among them are the decision of the US Congress to provide assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, support from the European Union and the start of negotiations on EU membership.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky during a joint press conference with President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics. According to the head of state, the first victory will be the decision of the US Congress, since this is a difficult challenge.
“But Ukraine must do everything that depends on it so that there is help,” the president emphasized.
According to him, the second victory is the support of the European Union. For example, it consists of obtaining an aid package of €50 billion for Ukraine. Zelensky noted that today not everyone in the EU is ready to support this decision.

At the same time, the third victory is the opening of negotiations on Ukraine’s future membership in the EU. According to the president, this is a motivational step for those who work, study and give their lives on the battlefield.
