Repressions will intensify further
< p>Over the past week, there have been two deaths of Crimean political prisoners in Russia. Chistikov stressed that the representative office, together with human rights activists, disseminated the relevant information among the international community.
We see that Russia feels the approach of its collapse and intensifies the persecution of Ukrainian political prisoners, in particular, in the territory Crimea, – said the Deputy Representative of the President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
After the New Year, 6 citizens of Ukraine from among the Crimean Tatars were detained and are now in custody. Relatives and friends who came to support them were also detained and brought to administrative responsibility. In total, these are 26 people, they are gradually being released.
By such actions, Russia shows the intensification of repression. The enemy understands that the resistance movement in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea is growing,” Chistikov noted.
This is evidenced by such activities as: “Yellow Ribbon”, “Atesh”, “Crimean Fighting Gull”. They point to an increase in the number of fans who are ready not only to demonstrate support, but also to take more active actions.
In addition, Chistikov adds, according to information from the southern command, residents of Crimea feel the approach of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are waiting for the liberation of the temporarily occupied peninsula .
