President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the UK on February 8th. During his speech before Parliament, he asked for the planes. He also announced a meeting with King Charles.
He reminded that the King of Great Britain is a pilot. Therefore, there will be an opportunity to talk about aircraft for Ukraine with those for whom this topic is as close as possible.

We pay with our lives… With the lives of our heroes who risk life and death every day,” Zelensky stressed.
He added that his meeting with the King of Great Britain would be a “truly special moment” Charles. He plans to say to him: “In Britain, the king is an Air Force pilot, and in Ukraine today every Air Force pilot is a king.”
The President of Ukraine noted that he was proud of the air forces of our state . At the same time, he stressed that our military is in dire need of aircraft to resist Russia.
