Zelensky told what awaits humanity if the aggressor is not resisted/press service of the President's Office
May 23, Volodymyr Zelensky spoke at the forum in Davos. During his speech, he told everyone present what the consequences for the world could be if the community misses the turning point and does not resist the aggression.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the current topic of the forum in Davos is very symbolic. It is also called History at a Turning Point, Government Policies and Business Strategies. And the very phrase “turning point”, according to the President, has become not a rhetorical figure of speech, Channel 24 reports.
It is important not to miss the turning point
The President of Ukraine stressed that now it is the time when the whole world decides whether brute force will rule in it. If this happens, then the opinions of people will not bother her at all. Moreover, it will be possible to forget about meetings in Davos to discuss the challenges facing society.
And all because brute force can only do one thing, Zelensky emphasizes – to conquer. She is not interested in discussions, because you can just immediately kill the recalcitrant. That is what Russia is doing now with Ukraine. Even while the forum itself is taking place.
Zelensky called for a look at the former building of the Russian House in Davos. He, according to the president, became the House of Russian war crimes. Such is the transformation of the aggressor country, which, unfortunately, is our neighbor. And worst of all, by her own example, she inspires other aggressors around the world. Already active, as well as those who are just beginning to have corresponding desires.
Instead of successful peaceful cities – black ruins. Instead of normal trade, there is a mined sea and blocked ports in Ukraine. Instead of tourism – closed skies and thousands of Russian bombs and cruise missiles. This is what the world will look like if humanity misses this turning point. It looks like a very large collection of war crimes,” Zelensky stressed.
During his speech, he recalled a few moments that humanity has already missed. We are talking about the beginning of the First and Second World Wars . Incidents when just a few shots fired on June 28, 1914 in Sarajevo caused millions of victims. Events when in 1938 the community did not give a worthy rebuff to Adolf Hitler. And a year later he started a war that claimed the lives of millions of people.
