President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that tomorrow, July 4, or in the coming days, he will hold a conversation with US President Donald Trump.
The head of state stated this during a conversation with media representatives together with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, President of the European Council António Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, answering a question about the extension of deliveries of certain weapons from the United States.
Zelensky to Talk to Trump About Arms Supplies
“Regarding our bilateral relations with the United States and this support, I hope that perhaps tomorrow or in the coming days I will talk about this with President Trump,” he stressed.

Zelensky also expressed hope for continued American support, as there are certain positions that Europe, unfortunately, cannot provide.
“Especially if we are talking about missiles for the Patriot air defense system. We are also counting on our own Ukrainian production. We need more funding for this, and we talked about this today,” the president noted.
