Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will try to convince his American counterpart Joe Biden to transfer long-range ATACMS missiles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces this fall.
He said this in an interview with CNN.
— I hope I will speak with President Biden. His opinion and support are very important to me. I think he can turn this page of the war. He already did this once with HIMARS, — Zelensky noted.
According to the head of state, these will not be the first negotiations with Biden on ATACMS.

— We're moving forward. Hopefully we'll get them in the fall. It is very important for us not to pause in this counter-offensive. That's why I really need them, — he added.
Zelensky noted that for the same purpose, Ukrainian pilots should be transferred to Western fighters as quickly as possible.
