The city of Kupyansk is the logistics center of the Kharkiv group of Russian invaders. Without it, they will not be able to effectively supply their army.
The liberation of the city will open up new opportunities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the further de-occupation of Ukrainian territories. Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, told channel 24 about this.
Advisor to the head of the Presidential Office noted that the General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had liberated 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region, but the liberation of Kupyansk would solve many problems of Ukraine in this war.
The liberated territory is more than 700 square kilometers, which is very important. But Kupyansk is a key strategic place through which the entire Kharkov grouping of Russian troops passes.
