How Ukrainians can leave the occupied Crimea/Ukrinform
After February 24, many Ukrainians submit requests to leave the occupied Crimea for the territory controlled by Ukraine or abroad. In order to safely leave the peninsula, a number of details should be taken into account.
The Presidential Representative Office answered the most frequently asked questions about the evacuation. In particular, they noted that a person will not be held liable for leaving Crimea in violation of the state border of Ukraine, that is, through Russia.
Where to ask for help
The Embassy of Ukraine in Moscow and consular offices of Russia do not work. Diplomatic relations with the aggressor state were severed after a new attack. Therefore, for travel issues, please contact the hotline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: +380442381588. Detailed requests for a consultation can be sent to the mail: [email protected]
Where and how to leave Russia
To leave the territory of Russia, Ukrainians must have a passport and an identity card to return to Ukraine. The land border allows you to travel to safe third countries: Estonia, Latvia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Finland, as well as Lithuania and Poland.
It should be noted that in the last 2 countries the path runs mainly through Belarus. However, Poland and the Baltic countries accept all Ukrainians, including those with old or expired passports.

Note that the Russian army needs to replenish its ranks. Therefore, residents of the temporarily occupied Crimea are being massively mobilized for the war. To do this, military registration and enlistment offices even fake medical examinations.
