Zelensky expressed doubt that Putin is ready to hear something
Volodymyr Zelensky expressed the corresponding opinion on June 16 at a briefing with the leaders of Germany, France, Italy and Romania, Channel 24 reports.
Zelensky answered a question that journalists addressed to French leader Emmanuel Macron. In particular, we are talking about whether the leaders of the West will keep in touch with Putin, for which they have come under criticism.
“I'm just not sure that the question of whether President Macron will talk further with Putin depends on me “, – said the head of state.
Zelensky expressed doubt that the Russian president is ready to hear something today. According to him, Putin is at the stage when he makes a decision, and then talks and thinks with someone.
Zelensky said that it is impossible to stop the war in the order that Putin now makes a decision. He also does not believe that the leader of Russia can be stopped alone.
I am not sure that today there are certain leaders in the world who alone can force Russia to stop the war. Only collectively, only united. It will be a strong force that will stop Russia,” Zelensky said.
Macron and Scholz came under fire for calls to Putin
