Javier Miley gave a gift to Vladimir Zelensky during the inauguration. The Argentine head of state presented his Ukrainian counterpart with the Hanukkah menorah. Note that December 10 was the fourth of the eight days of Hanukkah 5784. It is celebrated from December 7 to 15.

Let us note that Vladimir Zelensky on the first day of Hanukkah 2023 gathered rabbis from different cities of Ukraine. The head of state lit the Hanukkah candle together with those gathered.

Zelensky talked with Miley

First, the head of state expressed gratitude for the invitation he received from Javier Miley.

During times of war, it is difficult to find time to fly halfway across the globe. But we heard you, your signals in parliament and your personal energy about supporting Ukraine, our people who are fighting against Russian aggression, said Vladimir Zelensky.

The Ukrainian President also I am convinced that states can have a strong common future. Vladimir Zelensky noted that during the inauguration he felt the level of support that Miley had from the people of Argentina. The President added that he heard them chanting “Freedom, freedom, freedom.” According to the head of the Ukrainian state, this is what Ukrainians are fighting for.

And they still shouted “The people are with you.” It was clear how people felt about you. I wish you to always have such support. And only freedom and peace. And we count on your support for Ukraine on the path to victory and peace,” Zelensky added.

Vladimir Zelensky also told Javier Miley about the process of implementing the Ukrainian peace formula. He invited the Argentine side to participate in the fourth meeting of national security and foreign policy advisers on the implementation of the Peace Formula in January 2024. The head of state also called for preparations for the first founding Global Peace Summit.
