Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on conferring the title of Hero of Ukraine on 7 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, 5 received the award posthumously.
The corresponding Decree was signed by the President on March 25. It is known that these titles were given to soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine.
For personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, fidelity to the military oath, I decree: to award the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star,” the message says.

- Amelin Artem Andreevich – senior soldier (posthumously)
- Partali Stanislav Yuryevich – lieutenant (posthumously)
- Timchenko Alexander Alexandrovich – junior sergeant (posthumously)
- Chuprin Mikhail Ruslanovich – senior lieutenant (posthumously)
- Gromadsky Evgeny Olegovich – lieutenant
- Zhumaboev Mukimboy Yunusovich – colonel.
As you know, the deputy commander of the 23rd separate brigade of public order “Khortitsa” from the service of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Apukhtin – died two weeks ago defending Mariupol.
