Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Denmark on July 3 on an official visit.

The head of state is expected to participate in events dedicated to the beginning of Denmark's presidency of the Council of the European Union, in particular, he will deliver a speech.

Zelensky's arrival was confirmed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Denmark took over the EU Council Presidency on 1 July, marking the occasion with an opening ceremony and public festival in Aarhus. Its presidency will last for six months, until 31 December 2025.
The royal couple, members of the Danish government and a number of leading EU politicians will be there.
Under the Danish Presidency, Ukraine is expected to remain a priority on the EU's political agenda, with military, civilian, economic and political support continuing to be provided.
Work on EU expansion will also continue, in particular negotiations with Ukraine, Moldova and the Western Balkans.
